Taunton Stroke Club was started in 1980, using volunteers to help the members to overcome the effect of stroke.
Over 40 years it has changed its' name (Clover Club, Clovermarle Club and now Taunton Stroke Club), relocated a few times, etc.
but still provides the support for stroke survivors in the Taunton district.
We are a friendly support group where both peer supporters and other members provide support and understanding.
Taunton Stroke Club a independent group, run by volunteers, and funded by Grants, legacies, and donations. The members pay a small donation to
attend the weekly sessions which covers the hall and refreshments, but weekly donations do not provide for the external speakers/outings etc,
- these are provide by Grants and donations.
