Donations

Thank you for all your donations towards the Taunton Stroke Club, which help to maintain the peer support group for our stroke survivors.

Taunton Stroke Club does not receive funding from the Stroke Association, although as a national Stroke charity it does support them. It does not receive Grants for the NHS.

With changes in local authorities, NHS and social care integration (Integrated Care Systems), and new priorities for community Grant/Fund organisations (e.g. fuel price increases, cost of living, etc.) the Taunton Stroke Club is now running on its' own reserves with the very real possibility of having to restrict the external speakers/outings etc. or even close the club.

In memoriam

A legacy is a donation left to a charity in your Will. It is a lasting gift, so the work that the charity can continue. We will ensure that your legacy is used within your community, but it's essential that our name and charity number is detailed in your Will

It’s easy to include a gift to Taunton Stroke Club in your Will, but you should always consult a professional, such as a solicitor or financial adviser, to be sure your Will reflects your exact intentions and you understand tax implications.
